RED Horticulture at ISHS Symposium in Greece: Spotlight on Agronomic Innovation
We’re proud to announce that our Head of Agronomic Research Trials, Raphaël Quenum, is representing RED Horticulture at the prestigious IX International Symposium on Seed, Transplant and Stand Establishment of Horticultural Crops and III International Symposium on Vegetable Grafting in Thessaloniki, Greece.
This global event, hosted by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS), brings together experts in seed production, transplant technologies, and grafting to share the latest in horticultural science and practice.
Raphaël is presenting on Wednesday June 4 at 9.00 – 9.30 am, about the impact of dynamic LED lighting on tomato seedling production. This is based on a study conducted that demonstrates how adjusting light spectra, particularly using the dynamism of the red wavelengths can significantly enhance plant morphology and biomass, all while reducing energy consumption. The findings highlight the potential of dynamic lighting strategies to optimize both crop quality and sustainability in modern horticulture.
As we continue to push the boundaries of light-based agronomy, we’re thrilled to see RED’s innovations gaining recognition on the international stage.
