At RED Horticulture, we share a passion for light and its role in agriculture. Since our founding in 2018, we have grown into a team of around 50 dedicated employees spread across Europe. Whether engineers, agronomists, researchers, project managers, or technicians, everyone at RED Horticulture strives to excel in their own field of expertise. Together, we contribute to a future where agriculture is more sustainable, energy-efficient and ready to tackle the food challenges of tomorrow.

Our story
Establishment of the Rouge Engineered Designs SAS
First innovative partnership with a grower. Rouge Engineered Designs establishes itself for the first time in a greenhouse with lighting solutions designed for the growth of strawberries in France.
Opening of RED Lyon offices.
Rouge Engineered Designs becomes RED Horticulture.
First fundraising of €2.6 million with Demeter IM.
Opening of RED Horticulture BV in the Naaldwijk, Netherlands.
Inauguration of PARC by RED in Nantes.
